Technical Theatre I is the foundational Technical Theatre class, built for students who have not taken a Theatre class before. In this class, students will learn the foundations of:

• Theatre foundational skills, such as stage directions, collaboration, and vocabulary terms

• Hardware and Tool safety, usage, and vocabulary

• Set design, construction, and vocabulary

• Lighting Design, hanging and focusing, Instruments, vocabulary

• Sound Design, mixing, editing, microphone usage, vocabulary

• Costume Design, Construction, tailoring, vocabulary

• Props Design, Construction, Vocabulary

• Stage Management expectations, vocabulary
